Visiting old "stomping grounds" to a building I named when working for Dr Barbakow in the mid 1970's, we noticed this wonderful place. The ambiance was heavenly after a few days traveling. Our server JaimieAngel was as friendly as you could want & the food was so authentic. Great margarita with a little orchid flower & actually tequila! Chile relleno & Chicken enchilada were yummy. Long-story-short....we left our Visa card in the payment folder & didn't notice until a few hundred miles south! We called & talked to a wonderful employee, Mariella, who said Jaimie was off for a couple of days & offered to mail the card to us the next day!!!!! She did as promised we mailed her a reward for her integrity & thoughtfulness in returning our Visa promptly. It was such a wonderful experience to encounter these great people in as world full of such divisiveness & hatred.

El Patron has a cool vibe with great music. I had a watermelon margarita that was really tasty and bigger than I expected, which was awesome. The food was alright, but nothing to rave about. Overall, it's a solid spot for late-night drinks and dinner.

The drinks were great. Decent prices for the drinks. The chips were about half stale. Food was alright. It didn't seem fresh. Service was good. They checked up on us multiple times

Stopped by for drinks after dining elsewhere. We opted for starters to nibble on. The initial round of drinks was decent. We requested a margarita blended with serrano pepper instead of jalapeno on the rocks, and it turned out quite well. There was just one server managing all the tables. The ambiance was calm, with background music. On weekends, it shifts to a lounge atmosphere with a DJ.

Came here twice first time with my husband and then second time with my kids. Both times were great! So for our first time here we learned that they have karaoke and dancing here. They also informed us of a Jenni Rivera impersonator was going to be there for Valentine's Day, so I had to come back! It was such a fun night! The impersonator did such a great job! It got the party started! So many people got up to dance! It was so fun meeting new people there. Everyone was so friendly. Not only does this place know how to entertain, their food was great as well! Both days everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My first night I had the shrimp a la diabla and that was one of the best I've had aside from my moms. It was spicy and flavorful! I recommend this if you truly love spicy food like myself. The second night I forgot the name of the dish, but it had chicken, carne, chorizo patty, quesadillas, nopales, jalapeño and guacamole. It all tasted good. My husband had the alambre the first night which is a Mexican Philly cheesesteak served on a cast iron plate and that was really good too and for the second night he had the camarones mojo de ajo, he really enjoyed that too. My kids ordered tacos, steak quesadillas and a chicken salad. They all enjoyed their food too. Ok, now let's talk about their drinks! They are very well made here! OMG! So good! The pink Cadillac margarita was my favorite. I highly recommended this place for amazing food with great portions and entertainment! Come especially Thursday night!

Food spectacular Drinks so good it was the best part of our rough day Ambiance was perfect Even though it was a bar and grill, it had a family feel to it. A kid friendly menu for my picky kid. The customer service was real and not fake. We are not from the area, so glad we stumbled on this place that if we ever do end up in Santa Clarita again....we are definitely coming back here

We came here to grab a bite without high expectations, but food ended up surprisingly amazing. You can't beat huge shrimp tostadas and enchiladas for $12 each. We were told they have live music on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Schedule is posted on Instagram. We will be coming back for sure.

Came here with my wife for date night. I honestly don't like any Mexican restaurant here in Santa Clarita, so I wasn't sure. I am happy we gave this place a try. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Server kept checking up on us and making sure nothing was missing. We got the micheladas and they were good and really big. I order the shrimp a La Cart and they were also good. It came with a chipotle sauce. The carne asada fries were also very delicious. My wife's shrimp tostada needed some salt, but luckily they have salt on the side, so no complain there. I recommend this place. We had a good first experience and made our date night great! Prices are also fair. One thing I recommend to the management team if they are reading this, while the DJ is not there put some music on please. The music on the tv isn't the best.
